Changing the Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server Setting: MS Outlook

  1. Open up your Outlook email.
  2. Go to the Tools menu and choose Accounts.

  1. In the Internet Accounts window, click on the entry for psy.ucsd.edu.
  2. Click the Properties button.

  1. In the Properties window, choose the Servers tab.
  2. The field you are looking for is called Outgoing (SMTP).
  3. Change this field to the proper entry.

  1. Click OK in the Properties window.
  2. Click Close in the Internet Accounts window.
  3. You’re done!
